The New William Orrell Pro Series 2! Cups Review #3

Hello! I'm back again!

Today, I'm going to make a review about the new William Orrell Pro Series 2!

The William Orrell Pro Series 2 is the latest Pro Series 2 that's available in the market. I got them a few weeks back and I decided to wear them in. Here is my review after using them for almost 2 weeks :-

original photo cr: Lim Jiun Yan.

Let's start off with the upstacks of the cups, as usual. Its upstacks are really consistent and fast. If being compared to the previous 2 designs of Pro Series 2, it's upstacks are definitely more consistent than the William Polly Pro Series 2 Blacks, as well as the William Polly Pro Series 2 Clear. Because of its consistent upstack, I find it easier to stack faster - even though it is not as fast as the previous Pro Series 2s.

Now for the downstacks of the cups.. Its downstacks are really fast and consistent at the same time. It its downstacks are a lot more better than the William Polly Pro Series Blacks.

Its reinforced based (similar to the William Polly Pro Series 2 Blacks) makes it more consistent and harder to break at the same time.

Overall, the William Orrell Pro Series 2 is a really speedy and consistent set. I would recommend everyone who wants to own a nice set to get them. It is expected to be available in Malaysia within the next 10 days.

Thanks for watching the review!

Are Speed Stacks better? Cups Review #2!

It's been a long time since I was here.. And now I'm back!

So today I'm going to make a comparison between two sets from two different manufacturer - HY Snaptop Reds from Speed Stacks and Magic Flying Cups Red from He Shu Toys Factory.

So lets start. First of the, the size and texture of the two sets are completely different. The HY Snaptop Reds from Speed Stacks are taller but not as wide as the MFC Reds from He Shu Toys Factory. The surface texture from both cups are similiar but the cutting edges of the HY Red Snaptops are way better than the MFC Reds.

Now to the stacking part. Both of the upstacksand downstacks of the HY Snaptops Reds are better than the MFC Reds. I would definately recommend the HY Snaptop Reds for begginers due to its consistency because it is medium-weighed. The only good part of the MFC Reds are its quiet downstacks but its upstacks are terrible and they sometimes even stick together - you won't one a sticky set if you are looking for high speed sets.

Overall, the HY Snaptops Reds are a set of consistent cups and are way better than the MFC Reds. Plus, you can only use Speed Stacks cups in official tounament, so I highly recommend using official Speed Stacks cup for praticing at home or trainings at school.

Thanks for stopping by and reading this cup review! Hope everyone had a good day and I'll be back with more exciting stuffs! Stay tuned!

Discontinued Sets? Cups Review! #1

Heyy so it’s Xin Ee here again!

I bought a few sets from the Team Australia coach – Coach Ty @ the Malaysia Open Sport Stacking Championships 2015 and I decided to write a short review about the cups!

So the sets I bought are all discontinued sets, including HY Blues, HY Silvers and JW Glow in the Dark Yellows. Let’s not forget the Mini Solars as well.

I’m gonna start off the review with the HY Blues. They have a high demand so I decided to buy it. After stacking with them for about 5 minutes, I finally understand why. The upstacks are smooth, fast and consistent at the same time while the downstacks are seriously smooth. They are even better than the Pro Series 2 Blacks. I would surely recommend everyone to buy them if they’re still available at retail stores.

Next is a review about the HY Silvers. They have a really smooth texture. They’re pretty good overall, then I decided to compare them to the HY Blues. The upstacks are not as smooth or as fast as the HY Blues, but they surely are consistent. The downstacks are just as smooth as the HY Blues, which makes them quite a good set overall. Not for stackers who are looking for speedy cups but still a nice piece to add to the collection.

Let’s talk about the JW Glow in the Dark Yellows. Well, they glow in the dark, which already makes them worth a try. The upstacks are faster and smoother than the HY Blues, but not as consistent. The downstacks are even smoother than the HY Blues. If stackers are looking for speedy cups, I will strongly recommend this set. It’s great for practicing one’s consistency because they are speedy but not as consistent as any other speedy sets.

Now for the Mini Solars. Well they’re minis. They have better upstacks and downstacks than normal minis but their upstacks are not as smooth as the mini pros. They sound really nice and clear while stacking not like any other mini cups. It’s surely worth a try. They are also a good piece to be added into one’s collection – They’re solars! They change colors if exposed to direct sunlight.

I guess that's about it for today..
