My First Ever CUBING TOURNAMENT!

Hey guys it's me here again!

Today is the I participated in my school's inter-class cubing tournament and I managed to grab the gold medal by finishing first!

Well the tournament isn't like other tournaments - It consists only three rounds, the preliminaries, the semi finals and finals. Everyone who participated in the preliminaries only got one try. The fastest 10 who can solve the scramble will get into the semi finals.

I got into the semi finals, ranking 7th with the time of 37 (lol fail) and was able to finish first in the semi final round. I solved the (easy) scramble in 16.37 second (new best) and got into finals.

I was so nervous before everything started. Luckily my classmate who got into the finals as well was next to me and we wished each other luck, calming both of us down.

I solved the cube with my trembling hands in 30.7 seconds (lol fail again) and my classmate finished his solve in 31.3 second. We came in first and second respectively.

I was so stoked that I actually managed to be honored as the champion for the Junior 1 - 3 group in my first ever (sort of) cubing tournament. I jumped around in excitement for like 30 seconds after I got the results.

Guess what? I was invited by the RW Genting again as an Blogger Ambassador! I'll be leaving in Sunday morning for something that is really really exciting!

I'll be a judge at the WSSA Inter-School Sport Stacking Competition and I'll be participating as a Open Division competitor on Saturday.

Thanks for stopping by today! Sorry for no pho

Sort of a Throwback.. :p

Heyyya I'm back!
I'm backkkkkkkkkkkk! Alrightyyy so I just realized that I forgot to tell you guys how I did in the interclass table tennis competition!
I got into the semi-final rounds for every single event I participated - 15U F Singles, 15U F Doubles, Open F Singles, Open F Doubles and Open Mixed Doubles.
Every single match was tough and everyone was enjoying the games and matches so much.
Eventually, I was able to grab the gold medal and defend my title for the 15U F Singles and was able to grab the bronze medal for the 15U F Doubles. What's more fortunate is that I was also able to grab 2 more silver medals and another bronze medal for the other events.
So that's basically it for the table tennis tournament! I'll be writing what happened today in my next blog post so stay tuned!
Smile! :)

Malaysia Open 2015!

Hey so it's me here again!
So the Malaysia Open Sport Stacking Championships ended yesterday, and everyone had a blast!
We enjoyed so much. On the prelims day, except of stacking, we also did a few fun stuffs - we did the brainfreeze challenge! I done it with my relay team members, Oon Guo Rong, Russell Chan and Daniel Yip. Guo Rong dominated the challenge. Sadly no prize was prepared.
On the finals day, I competed in every single event except of the timed 363 relay. I got 1.839 for 333 and got 2.487 for 363. I failed my cycle by getting only an 8.
I came in ninth overall. Was aiming for top 5 but I guess 9th still can do.
So yeap. That's it!

Day ONE!

I'm backkkk! :D
So yeappp today's day one of malaysia open sport stacking championships 2015!
I got up early today because I was too pumped for the tournament! But we were having our breakfast at a place that's too far away from our competition venue and we arrived late at the venue.
When we arrived, there were literally no space for us to warm-up, so we just started stacking on the floor. It was way tougher than stacking at normal platforms and tables.
I did quite well at the preliminaries round, I would say. I got into the finals for all individual events (6th for 3-3-3, 5th for 3-6-3 and 1st for cycle) in my division. I got into finals for doubles and parent-child doubles too!
Then later at the gift swapping session, I got a cool red cap from a little girl from Team Singapore and 2 awesome nail clippers from 2 other different stackers!
I then later did the brainfreeze challenge with my relay team members which im hopefully uploading to my youtube channel this week.
Can't wait for tomorrow! Hope everything goes out fine! #fingerscrossed
Guess I'll have to end here today! too much stuff to pack! Byeeee guys!
SMILEEEEE :)

Malaysia Open?

Hey it's Xin Ee!
So I just got back to the hotel.. Today was sooooo tiring ahah
Well today's the last day of school.. After I got home, I started packing my luggage and headed to Summit Subang USJ with several other stackers from Negeri Sembilan..
It took us about 2 and a half hours to reach our destination. It was surely tiring(for my dad because he was driving).
Well after reaching there, we went to the competition venue. The place was opened for stackers to practice from 6 - 10pm.
I tried doing doubles with a lot of stackers, including the fastest stacker in Singapore, Ezra Tan.
I got a new cycle record, too! It was still a 6.3 tho.. :)
Well I guess I'll have to end here today.. Preliminaries are happening tomorrow! Good luck to everyone participating!
Don't forget to smile :)
