Resorts World Genting Kids Blogger Ambassador!

Alrighttt I'm back!

Okay so, if anyone still remember my previous post, I got the chance to be one of the Resorts World Genting Kids Blogger Ambassador! I got the chance to participate in a lot of fun-filled activities and got to see a lot of stuffs that I never seen before.

We arrived at 7:00 in the morning. The Genting International Children's Festival's official launching event starts at 10, so we decided to grab a drink.

We headed to the venue at 9:45. We spoke to Ronald, who leaded us throughout the event and I got my t-shirt.

The event started on time, right after the VIPs arrived. The mob dance that started off the event was awesome. Everyone enjoyed it so much.

After the welcoming speeches from the VIPs, we received our souvenirs and certificate! It was such an honor to receive my certificate from all three of the VIPs.

After checking-in, we went to the Coffee Terrace to have our lunch. Lunch was served buffet-style and I liked it so much.

Beef spaghetti, french fries and nuggets with cheese sauce on it!

I got myself some food to eat by the western area while my parents got some Satay for me from the local food area.

I liked the food so much and the environment was just fantastic.  The workers were friendly. One of the workers actually offered help for me when I was getting the cheese sauce.

We then went to visit the lovely clowns! They were so good at entertaining the audiences and everyone was brought into their joyous mood.

The balloons they can make are just awesome. No matter what it is, no matter what shape and sizes you want the balloon to be in, just tell them. There's nothing they can't make.

One of the clowns showing off his awesome balancing skills by handling the mini-bike!

Later on, we went to the Padini Walk Way @ First World Plaza to get ourselves participated in other exciting booths prepared just for kids, including the maze and the "decorate your own ice cream" booth. I finished the maze and I found a lot of interest stuffs inside the maze, including a few "Did you Know?" fun facts, some mini games including the Tic Tac Toe, a few coloring corner and I also found myself a wishing corner. I did make a wish, just like everyone else!

Then, we went to the dinosaur show after we had a rest. I got the chance to dance with the baby dinosaur! It was so great and I can still remember the dancing steps.

We then went to have our dinner. Once again, we had our dinner at the Coffee Terrace. Different types of food are served.

Later we got the chance to see the awesome iLuminate show! You really have to see it to believe it! The awesomeness are just..electrifying! Unfortunately, I'm not able to share any photos since no phone or cameras are allowed - any single light source will definitely ruin the show.

It was definitely my honor to become one of the Resorts World Genting Kids Blogger Ambassadors. I sincerely thank RW Genting for giving me a chance to have this stunning experience and for giving me a chance to write this extraordinary blog. I hope I will be able to write more of these blogs soon!

Smile more ;)

Well I just can't wait for whatever that'll happen sooner today. It's still so surreal... I don't even know what to expect, but all I can say is I will sure have tons of fun.

So yeappp! I just can't wait for everything to happen! Hopefully will be able to nlog again at night today(might be exhausted because of enjoying myself too much, haha)!

Discontinued Sets? Cups Review! #1

Heyy so it’s Xin Ee here again!

I bought a few sets from the Team Australia coach – Coach Ty @ the Malaysia Open Sport Stacking Championships 2015 and I decided to write a short review about the cups!

So the sets I bought are all discontinued sets, including HY Blues, HY Silvers and JW Glow in the Dark Yellows. Let’s not forget the Mini Solars as well.

I’m gonna start off the review with the HY Blues. They have a high demand so I decided to buy it. After stacking with them for about 5 minutes, I finally understand why. The upstacks are smooth, fast and consistent at the same time while the downstacks are seriously smooth. They are even better than the Pro Series 2 Blacks. I would surely recommend everyone to buy them if they’re still available at retail stores.

Next is a review about the HY Silvers. They have a really smooth texture. They’re pretty good overall, then I decided to compare them to the HY Blues. The upstacks are not as smooth or as fast as the HY Blues, but they surely are consistent. The downstacks are just as smooth as the HY Blues, which makes them quite a good set overall. Not for stackers who are looking for speedy cups but still a nice piece to add to the collection.

Let’s talk about the JW Glow in the Dark Yellows. Well, they glow in the dark, which already makes them worth a try. The upstacks are faster and smoother than the HY Blues, but not as consistent. The downstacks are even smoother than the HY Blues. If stackers are looking for speedy cups, I will strongly recommend this set. It’s great for practicing one’s consistency because they are speedy but not as consistent as any other speedy sets.

Now for the Mini Solars. Well they’re minis. They have better upstacks and downstacks than normal minis but their upstacks are not as smooth as the mini pros. They sound really nice and clear while stacking not like any other mini cups. It’s surely worth a try. They are also a good piece to be added into one’s collection – They’re solars! They change colors if exposed to direct sunlight.

I guess that's about it for today..

Smile! :)

Malaysia Open 2015!

Hey so it's me here again!
So the Malaysia Open Sport Stacking Championships ended yesterday, and everyone had a blast!
We enjoyed so much. On the prelims day, except of stacking, we also did a few fun stuffs - we did the brainfreeze challenge! I done it with my relay team members, Oon Guo Rong, Russell Chan and Daniel Yip. Guo Rong dominated the challenge. Sadly no prize was prepared.
On the finals day, I competed in every single event except of the timed 363 relay. I got 1.839 for 333 and got 2.487 for 363. I failed my cycle by getting only an 8.
I came in ninth overall. Was aiming for top 5 but I guess 9th still can do.
So yeap. That's it!
SMILE! :)

Day ONE!

I'm backkkk! :D
So yeappp today's day one of malaysia open sport stacking championships 2015!
I got up early today because I was too pumped for the tournament! But we were having our breakfast at a place that's too far away from our competition venue and we arrived late at the venue.
When we arrived, there were literally no space for us to warm-up, so we just started stacking on the floor. It was way tougher than stacking at normal platforms and tables.
I did quite well at the preliminaries round, I would say. I got into the finals for all individual events (6th for 3-3-3, 5th for 3-6-3 and 1st for cycle) in my division. I got into finals for doubles and parent-child doubles too!
Then later at the gift swapping session, I got a cool red cap from a little girl from Team Singapore and 2 awesome nail clippers from 2 other different stackers!
I then later did the brainfreeze challenge with my relay team members which im hopefully uploading to my youtube channel this week.
Can't wait for tomorrow! Hope everything goes out fine! #fingerscrossed
Guess I'll have to end here today! too much stuff to pack! Byeeee guys!
SMILEEEEE :)

Malaysia Open?

Hey it's Xin Ee!
So I just got back to the hotel.. Today was sooooo tiring ahah
Well today's the last day of school.. After I got home, I started packing my luggage and headed to Summit Subang USJ with several other stackers from Negeri Sembilan..
It took us about 2 and a half hours to reach our destination. It was surely tiring(for my dad because he was driving).
Well after reaching there, we went to the competition venue. The place was opened for stackers to practice from 6 - 10pm.
I tried doing doubles with a lot of stackers, including the fastest stacker in Singapore, Ezra Tan.
I got a new cycle record, too! It was still a 6.3 tho.. :)
Well I guess I'll have to end here today.. Preliminaries are happening tomorrow! Good luck to everyone participating!
Don't forget to smile :)
